K-패스 (케이패스) allows users to receive direct refunds in the form of cash, mileage, or card deductions based on their transportation expenses, regardless of the distance traveled on public transportation such as buses and subways, with a minimum of 15 trips per month. The app complies with the access permissions required for app services under the Information and Communication Network Act.
Users can choose to grant the following optional permissions for seamless app usage:
- Location: Used to verify the user's location on the map without storing location information.
- Storage: For saving post images and caching to improve app speed.
- Camera: Utilized for uploading post images.
- Files and Media: Access function for attaching post files and images.
It is noted that users can still use the service without granting optional permissions. The app's access permissions are divided into essential and optional permissions to comply with Android OS versions 6.0 and above. Users with OS versions below 6.0 are advised to check if their device manufacturer provides an operating system upgrade function and upgrade to version 6.0 or above if possible. Additionally, even after an OS update, previously granted access permissions in existing apps do not change, necessitating the deletion and reinstallation of apps to reset access permissions.
